1. Scope and Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the dentapus platform, intended for dentists, scientific healthcare staff, and authorized administrative personnel of dental clinics. By registering and/or using the service, the user fully accepts these terms, including the explicit statement that strong encryption applies to all data without exception.
2. Permitted Use and Professional Responsibility
- The application may only be used for lawful professional dental healthcare purposes.
- Healthcare professionals remain solely responsible for clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment decisions, and medical acts.
- dentapus is a management and documentation tool and does not replace professional clinical judgment.
3. Accounts, Access, and Security
- Users must provide accurate and up-to-date registration information.
- Credentials are personal and must not be shared with unauthorized persons.
- Account holders are responsible for activity under their accounts and must promptly report potential security incidents.
4. Patient Records and Data Quality
Users are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and timeliness of data entered into the platform (medical history, clinical notes, odontograms, treatment plans, appointment calendar entries, and administrative data). Entering data without authorization or in breach of confidentiality obligations is prohibited.
5. Personal Data Protection
Processing of personal data, including health data, is carried out in accordance with applicable law and the platform Privacy Policy. Users must comply with GDPR requirements and professional ethics obligations. In all cases, strong encryption applies to all data without exception, in transit and at rest.
6. Service Availability and Technical Changes
Reasonable efforts are made to maintain service continuity. Planned or emergency interruptions may occur for maintenance, upgrades, or security. The platform may modify features when technically or regulatorily required.
7. Prohibited Actions
- Unauthorized access attempts, breaches, or circumvention of security controls.
- Illegal use or processing of data without proper legal basis or authorization.
- Reverse engineering, bulk extraction, or disruption of system operations.
8. Intellectual Property
Software, platform structure, design, branding, and content are intellectual/industrial property of dentapus or third-party rights holders and are protected by applicable law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, dentapus is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use or inability to use the service. Clinical responsibility for treatment decisions remains exclusively with the healthcare professional.
10. Suspension or Termination of Access
The platform may temporarily suspend or permanently terminate access in cases of terms violations, security risks, or legal/regulatory compliance requirements. Protection of all data through strong encryption without exception remains a core security principle.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the applicable law of the provider's jurisdiction, unless mandatory provisions of another jurisdiction apply.
12. Amendments
These terms may be updated for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons. Continued use of the service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised version.
